Homes in the Forest Heights Neighborhood
Located in the West Salem hills just off of Highway 22, is a lush, forested neighborhood appropriately named the Forest Heights. This acreage subdivision is made up of homes on hillside land with 2-5 acre lots. These were all custom-built homes that vary greatly in architecture and size. Some of the trees have been cleared around some of the homes to create a less nestled feel and create a more manicured look.
Forest Heights has easy access to Highway 22 as 50th dead ends into Hwy 22. It takes about 5 minutes to get into downtown Salem from this subdivision so it has the benefit of good schools, easy highway access, and gorgeous land.
Homes started being built in the late 1970s and were built over the subsequent three decades. There is no HOA for this neighborhood but there are Conditions, Covenants, and Restrictions that apply to homeowners that purchase homes in this neighborhood.
