In east Salem around Pudding Creek Rd and 82nd, you will find the Waldo Hills Park neighborhood. This non-HOA upscale acreage subdivision is made up of 1.5 tp 2.5 acre parcels with custom homes.  The first phase was built in the 1970s and then the later phases were developed in the 1990s. There are both one-story and two-story homes in the subdivision.

This community has Blossom Creek running through it which branches off from the Little Pudding River. None of the homes are in a flood plain as the creek is not a large one.
