Homes in the Kooskooskee Neighborhood
Located in South Salem Oregon near the Creekside Golf Course, are a couple of streets with condo-style townhomes. Stunning tree-lined streets well maintained lawns and homes, and a quiet peaceful setting tends to make real estate in this neighborhood a rare find. There is green space behind the units giving the feeling of openness.
Kooskooskee is a small neighborhood that is made up of two loops, Pawnee and Cayuse. The green space is between the two neighborhoods and Battlecreek Creek runs between the two sections.
This is an HOA community with quarterly dues. The HOA fee maintains the common spaces. There are rules about RV parking in case that is important to you, double-check the CC&Rs. Many residents live here for a long time so just a few units come up for sale each year. Many units will need some interior updating as a result.

Neighborhood Life
Unlike Battlecreek Commons, which are condos, Kooskooskee is made up of townhomes. The neighborhood doesn’t blend into other neighborhoods as it is on two loops. Battle Creek Park is a mile away and can be accessed through walking paths through Battlecreek Estates. It is currently undeveloped but still has the paths from when it was a golf course and you can see some of the preliminary park plans here.
Kooskooskee feeds into Sumpter Elementary, Crossler Middle School, and Sprague High School.
The neighborhood is very car-dependent, but most amenities such as grocery shopping, doctor’s offices, and some restaurants are within a two-mile drive of the neighborhood.
