Homes in the Cinnamon Hill Neighborhood
The Cinnamon Hill Neighborhood is a lush fir tree-lined neighborhood located in south Salem Oregon off of Rees Hill Road. This is a highly stable neighborhood with residents living in homes for long periods of time. There are typically only one to two homes on the market at any point in time. The neighborhood is defined by its large evergreen trees that are throughout the neighborhood. There are several natural-style backyards in this neighborhood as the fir needles make it hard to grow grass in some of the yards.
The neighborhood was developed and built in the 1970s so there are ample Shed style homes throughout the neighborhood which often means nice large windows in the back of the home as well as sunken living rooms. They are common in this neighborhood. Yards tend to be smaller and embracing plants that do well under fir trees is a must.
There is a nearby neighborhood park and then it is a short walk to the 50-acre urban park that is nearby as well. Grocery shopping is close by and lots of amenities off of Commercial St. as well. With its far south Salem location, this neighborhood has great freeway access. For homeowners that commute to Corvallis or Albany, this neighborhood is a great jumping-off point due to its highway access.
