Crestview Neighborhood

Sandwiched between River Road in south Salem, Oregon and the Candalaria neighborhood, lies the smaller Crestview Neighborhood. There are a few small subdivisions that make up this area and then a larger newer construction neighborhood. Most of this neighborhood was built in the 2004-2006 range with some of the homes on Gilbert Street being around a bit longer. With their Arts and Crafts influences, the homes in Crestview were built by several small local builders. As such, floor plans and amenities between homes are varied.

There is a small neighborhood park/common space area for neighbors in the subdivision. The location of the area allows for quick access to downtown, or nearby Minto Brown Island Park. Minto Brown Island Park has one of the off-leash dog parks for Salem, as well as, trails around the park for a bike ride, a walk, or a run. If that doesn’t work for your fitness needs, the Courthouse Athletic club is nearby with racquetball courts and a pool. When you are done with all that exercise, just walk over to the Salem Golf Club and go to Whiskey Browns for a bite to eat at their outside dining.
