Real estate in the Inland Shores Neighborhood

Inland Shores is an upscale neighborhood in Keizer Oregon. There is a man-made lake called Staats Lake that used to be a rock quarry that was filled to create the lake. The neighborhood that surrounds the lake is Inland Shores. It is important to know that the lake is a private lake for use strictly by the residents of Inland Shores.  There are several phases to development including Lake Forest Estates, Westlake Village, and Lakefair Village. The neighborhood is mostly single-family homes, but there is a condo/townhome section that has views of the lake as well.

As Staats Lake is a private lake that can only be used by residents and their guests, there are signs indicating that it is a private lake at the entry points to the walking path.  There is a small launching point for taking out a kayak onto the lake as they are allowed.  There are no motorized boats on the lake. This is an HOA community with the Inland Shores HOA that has fairly extensive green spaces, some with fountains, within the community. For home buyers looking for real estate that is upscale, but still has a community feel then Inland Shores is a good choice. It is one of two housing developments in the area that surround a lake.

Real estate prices for Inland shores

In 2022, the median sales price was $462,500, but this isn’t indicative of the variety of homes in the neighborhood.  Most homes are in the $450,000-$800,000 price range.  Only a handful of homes went up for sale in 2022 so the median sales price swings a lot in this neighborhood depending upon what goes up for sale that year.  You can get one of the condos for $350,000-$400,000.

Neighborhood Life

The local schools are Keizer Elementary, Claggett Creek Middle School, and McNary High School. Keizer Elementary is located across the street from the neighborhood as is the high school.  McNary Estates and the Golf Club are separated by a gate, but if you are an avid golfer, the golf course is close by.

Inland Shores has easy access to I-5, and is close to health clinics, grocery shopping, and local coffee shops.  It is about 2.5 miles to Keizer Rapids Park which has a disc golf course, playground equipment, a fenced off-leash dog park, and the Big Dig playground.   It is also close to Courthouse Fitness which has an outdoor pool for the summer months.
