Jefferson Oregon

Jefferson is located about 13 miles south of Salem. Jefferson is a small town with approximately 2500 residents. Jefferson has experienced recent growth, as many of the small towns that surround Salem have, due to rising home prices in Salem. Jefferson has experienced recent new construction that is more affordable.

Jefferson is town surrounded by farmland so it has a more rural lifestyle to the town. It is an easy commute into Salem or down to Albany if there is a split commute in a household.  While Jefferson itself is fairly flat, there are some gorgeous hills that have view properties that surround the city limits.

Homes will have larger lot sizes, generally speaking, and there is a lot of acreage that is available in the area that will mostly be for farming.  Jefferson has really good highway access for those that want to commute into Salem but have a more rural lifestyle.
